East African Maintenance and Asset Management Conference 2008.
What is EAMAMC 2008 all about?
The idea for EAMAMC was born out of the realization that there is no annual forum in the East African region for Maintenance Managers, Engineers, Plant Managers and Plant Reliability professionals to gather together and be updated on the latest Technologies, Methodologies and Maintenance Practices available.
Such forums exist in other countries and continents, yet nothing of this nature has been arranged yet for the East African region. So hence the birth of EAMAMC 2008!
Who are the organizers of EAMAMC 2007? Primarily the conference is supported by our two main sponsors, SKF and Pragma Systems. We have other sponsors on board who will also be listed on this website. The organisational and marketing aspects of the conference will be handled by a South African based marketing company.
The inaugural East African Maintenance and Asset Management Conference (EAMAMC 2008) will be held in Nairobi from Wednesday 20th till Friday 22nd of February 2008 at the Grand Regency Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya. This Conference is being organised by a group of Individuals and Companies that are active in the fields of Maintenance, Reliability and Asset Management issues in East Africa and that see a great need for such a conference to be held in East Africa. This conference will provide attendees with an unparalleled opportunity to network with their peers and also update themselves on the latest technologies and practices to be found in the Maintenance, Reliability, Maintenance Management and Asset Management arenas.
This exciting Conference will be focusing on 3 main areas of knowledge expansion and interchange, viz ;
Presentations of Papers will occupy most of the daytime Conference proceedings, but we also plan to have a few relaxing, fun, evening social get-togethers.
Representatives from several related Companies active in these fields within the East Africa region will also be on hand to represent their products. They will have stands where you can view products and have discussions with them on their specific area of expertise.
The organisers expect to draw Conference delegates from Industrial Companies right across the entire East African region and also from a wide range of diverse Industries. Maintenance is Maintenance and the problems are common to all of us, no matter the size of your Company. This Conference will to equip you with the tools, information and skills to overcome those problems.
